I entered The Laugh A Minute Clinic in the 19th Annual Writer’s Digest Self Published Book Awards. While the book didn’t win the contest, it did receive a rating of 4.5 out of 5.0. ‘Judge 26′ was particularly moved by the chapter on parting company with a beloved pet.
I can honestly say that in nearly 30 years of veterinary practice I have not had five days that I didn’t want to go to “work”. While there are challenges to be faced in every career, some of which are documented in the final pages of the book, most of them are overcome with a little hard work and a positive attitude!
